Updated TVS Ronin to be launched in January 2025: What’s new
TVS Motor Company has unveiled the 2025 iteration of its neo-retro motorcycle, the Ronin, during the recently-concluded MotoSoul 2024 festival in Vagator, Goa. The updated Ronin will be launched in January 2025 and the test rides of the model are also slated to begin from next month. Here, let’s take a look at what’s on offer.
2025 TVS Ronin: What’s new
The Ronin will now boast two striking paint options for 2025 namely, Glacier Silver and Charcoal Ember. These will replace the existing Delta Blue and Stargaze Black from the current lineup.
In a significant update, dual-channel ABS has been introduced to the mid-spec DS variant. Previously, this feature was exclusive to the top-spec trim. The DS variant, previously priced at Rs 1.57 lakh, ex-showroom, may see a pricing revision, yet to be announced.

Mechanically, the Ronin remains powered by a 225.9 cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 20 bhp and 19.93 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch. The double-cradle frame is supported by 41 mm USD forks and a rear mono-shock with a 7-step adjustable preload.
At present, the Ronin lineup starts at Rs 1.35 lakh, ex-showroom, for the SS trim, with the top-end TD Special Edition priced at Rs 1.73 lakh. Any potential price adjustments for the updated model will be revealed upon its official announcement.
