Educational Qualification: Applicants must have completed at least their 10th standard (Matriculation) from a recognised board or educational institution.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 45 years of age. Age relaxation will be provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government rules.
Physical Fitness: A physical efficiency test (PET) will also be part of the selection process, ensuring that only physically fit candidates are selected for the Home Guard positions.
Selection Procedure
The selection process for the UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025 will involve multiple stages. Candidates must clear all stages to secure a position. The process includes:
Written Examination: The written exam will be objective-type (MCQs) and will assess candidates on various general knowledge and aptitude topics. The syllabus will be based on the prescribed guidelines.

Among these, 4,543 vacancies are for Police Inspectors, 19,220 for Constables, and 2,833 for Jail Wardens.
