Top Honda Amaze features that Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor miss out on: Details
Honda Cars India has launched the third-generation Amaze with a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh, ex-showroom. This latest iteration of the popular compact sedan features a radically different design than the outgoing model. Besides that, it gets new features, including some that its key rivals such as the new Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor miss out on. Here, let’s quickly take a look at what gives it an upper hand against these models.
Honda Amaze: Level 2 ADAS Suite
With the Honda Sensing ADAS suite, the new Amaze is the most affordable car in the Indian market to offer the technology. It includes features such as Collision Mitigation Braking, Auto High Beam, Auto High-Beam, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Road Departure Mitigation among others.
Honda Amaze: Higher ground clearance
The new Amaze boasts the highest ground clearance in its segment at 172 mm, edging past the Tata Tigor (170 mm), Hyundai Aura (165 mm), and Maruti Dzire (163 mm). This improvement will help in a slightly enhanced handling of rough terrains and speed bumps.

Honda Amaze: Paddle shifters
The new Amaze retains its 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic. Unlike its rivals that offer AMT automatics, the Amaze stands out as the only sedan in its segment to feature paddle shifters, integrated with its CVT variants.
Honda Amaze: Lane Watch Camera
Among the other changes, the third-gen Amaze also gets Honda’s Lane Watch Camera, a smart feature that works like a blind spot monitor. It helps the driver see areas that are hard to check while reversing or making tight turns. The camera shows a clear view of the surroundings on the infotainment screen, making parking and turning safer and easier.
