Tears roll down Sabrina Carpenter’s eyes as she celebrates her Grammy nominations |
They say when you are overwhelmed with emotions and your heart can’t contain the contentment, you drop a few tears of happiness. This is exactly what happened with Sabrina Carpenter when she live-streamed the Grammy nominations and saw her work competing in various categories alongside other music titans.
Taking to her social media handle, Sabrina shared a video from her tour bus, where she saw and celebrated her Grammy nominations. Surrounded by friends, who all cheered for the stars, Sabrina’s excitement was palpable as she got nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance, Best New Artist, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year.
And the list doesn’t end here. Her sixth album ‘Short n’ Sweet’ made a place in the Album of the Year nomination and that’s when Sabrina couldn’t control her tears. With this nomination, she is in the heavy-weight category with icons like Beyonce and her album ‘Cowboy Carter’ and Taylor Swift with her ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’
Not just this, she also got nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album.
Sharing the video on her social media handle, Sabrina wrote – “us on the tour bus this morning take a shot every time we scream like fr headphone warning. this is the first year I’ve watched the live stream where i heard my name! I’d be lying if i said i hadn’t dreamt about this day my whole life so i am filled with gratitude- Thank you @recordingacademy :’))”

It is worth noting that Sabrina and Chappell Roan are the only artists who made a place in four major categories of Grammy 2025 nominations – Record Of The Year, Best New Artist, Album Of The Year, and Song Of The Year.
Sabrina Carpenter has been in the industry for almost a decade now, but her fame has soared recently. Her 2022 album ‘Emails I Can’t Send,’ helped her garner the much-deserved love and appreciation. Later in 2023 with the deluxe version she made it to the Billboards as well. Soon she was able to make a place for herself alongside Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.
