Skoda Kylaq full price list revealed: Check variant-wise pricing, features
Skoda Auto India today finally revealed the complete price list of the Skoda Kylaq sub-compact SUV. Previously, the company had revealed only the price of the entry-level trim. The bookings for the new Kylaq will open today 4 pm, interested customers can book the SUV online or by visiting their nearest Skoda dealership. The deliveries are slated to begin from January 27, 2024. The company also announced that the first 33,333 customers will get a complimentary 3-year standard maintenance package.
The Kylaq is available in four variants – Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige. The entry-level Classic trim is priced at Rs 7.89 lakh, Signature MT is priced at Rs 9.59 lakh, AT variant is priced at Rs 10.59 lakh, Signature plus MT is priced at Re 11.40 lakh, AT variant is priced at Rs 12.40 lakh and the top-of-the-line Prestige trim is priced at Rs 13.35 lakh, AT trim is priced at Rs 14.4 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). The company also said that the Kylaq will be sent to Bharat NCAP crash test and the results will be announced sometime in February 2024. The brand is confident of nothing less than 5-star safety rating.
The Kylaq is based on the brand’s MQB-A0-IN platform and measures less than four metres in length. The new model will compete with already established rivals such as the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. The Kylaq measures 3,995 mm in length, 1975 mm in width, 1575 mm height and has a 2,566 mm wheelbase with a ground clearance of 189 mm.
In terms of features, the Kylaq comes packed. It’s offered with an 8.0-inch fully digital cluster, 10.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, connected car tech, powered both front seats, 2-spoke steering wheel, semi-leatherette seat upholstery, single-pane sunroof, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, and a six-speaker Canton sound system. Safety-wise, it gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, three-point seatbelts for all occupants, a reverse parking camera with sensors and more.

Talking about engine and gearbox, the Kylaq is offered with a a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine with 115 hp of power and 178 nm of torque. Gearbox options will include a 6-speed torque converter and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The same engine also does the duty in the Skoda Kushaq, Slavia, VW Virtus and Taigun.
