The Ministry of Education unveiled the ninth edition of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 on August 12, 2024, with Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan presiding over the event. Established on September 29, 2015, the NIRF provides a comprehensive system for evaluating and ranking educational institutions across India. The framework assesses institutions based on five core parameters: Teaching, Learning, and Resources (TLR); Research and Professional Practices (RPC); Graduation Outcomes (GO); Outreach and Inclusivity (OI); and Perception (PER).
In the NIRF 2024 rankings for law colleges, the National Law School of India University secured the top spot, followed by the National Law University in second place and Nalsar University of Law in third.Below is a list of the top 10 law colleges in India according to NIRF 2024.

It is a central research university situated in New Delhi, India. Initially founded in Aligarh, United Provinces (now Uttar Pradesh, India) during the British Raj in 1920, the university relocated to Okhla in 1935.
