In a recent interview, Bhatt shared that Aamir spent 10 hours meticulously selecting the cap his character would wear in the film, demonstrating his dedication to every detail.Speaking to Radio Nasha, the director revealed that Aamir spent 10 hours discussing the perfect look for his character’s cap in ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi’.
After the film’s success, the way Aamir styled his cap became a fan favourite. Bhatt also reminisced about working with Aamir in ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke’, noting that despite his earlier flops, the success of ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi’ solidified their collaboration.
In a conversation with Digital Commentary, Tiku Talsania, who appeared in ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke’, shared an incident where Aamir cancelled the film’s shoot because he disagreed with Bhatt’s vision. Tiku recalled the shoot of the song “Chikni Surat,” where Aamir decided to halt the shoot. When Tiku asked Mahesh about it, the director simply responded, “Arre kya bataun ye Aamir.”
Bhatt previously described Aamir as a “victim” of his own pursuit of perfection. Speaking to Pinkvilla, he mentioned that the actor is a sincere individual but is caught in the belief that ‘life can be perfected like a document’.
