Lamborghini Urus SE: Powertrain and Performance
Under the hood, the Urus SE is powered by a hybrid system that pairs a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine with an electric motor, generating a combined 800 hp and 950 Nm of torque. The SUV is equipped with a 25.9-kWh lithium-ion battery located beneath the floor, enabling an electric-only range of over 60 km. This hybrid setup enhances the Urus SE’s power-to-weight ratio to 3.13 kg/CV, improving from the 3.3 kg/CV of the Urus S.
The Urus SE can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 312 km/h. Its hybrid powertrain introduces four new Electric Performance Strategies (EPS) in addition to the six existing driving modes, bringing the total to eleven. These include the familiar modes like Strada, Sport, and Corsa for different road conditions, off-road modes Neve, Sabbia, and Terra, and new EPS options: EV Drive, Hybrid, Performance, and Recharge.
