Kinetic Green confirms E-Luna variant with range of two electric scooters: Details
Kinetic Green is set to expand its electric two-wheeler lineup once again with the introduction of a new variant of its E-Luna moped. After launching the electric version of the iconic Luna earlier this year, the company has now announced a long-range variant equipped with a 4.3 kWh battery, offering up to 250 km on a single charge. This impressive range, nearly double that of most electric scooters, was confirmed by Sulajja Firodia Motwani, CEO and Founder of Kinetic Green, through a social media post.
Priced at Rs 70,000, ex-showroom, the E-Luna features a lightweight dual-tubular steel chassis and a payload capacity of 150 kg. Currently, the moped is available with three battery options: 1.7 kWh, 2 kWh, and 2.3 kWh. As per a report in FE, the model will be available starting from January 2025. The company has attracted interest from a leading e-commerce firm for 1 lakh units of this extended-range version, with an initial order of 10,000 units expected.
