Hero Vida V2 e-scooter range launched at Rs 96,000: Range, features and more
Hero MotoCorp has expanded its electric vehicle portfolio with the launch of the new Vida V2 electric scooter range in India. The lineup includes three variants: Vida V2 Lite, Vida V2 Plus, and Vida V2 Pro. These models are priced at Rs 96,000, Rs 1.15 lakh, and Rs 1.35 lakh, ex-showroom, respectively. This marks Hero’s entry into the highly competitive sub-Rs 1 lakh EV segment.
Hero Vida V2 electric scooter range: Battery, range and performance
The Vida V2 range is differentiated primarily by battery capacities. The entry-level Vida V2 Lite features a 2.2 kWh removable battery pack, offering a range of 94 km and a top speed of 69 kmph.
Moving up, the Vida V2 Plus gets a 3.44 kWh battery pack with a range of 143 km and a top speed of 85 kmph. The top-spec Vida V2 Pro is equipped with a 3.94 kWh battery, delivering an impressive 165 km range and a top speed of 90 kmph. All three models come with removable batteries, which Hero claims can be charged at home, reaching 80 percent in around six hours.

The Vida V2 Pro also boasts rapid acceleration, going from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. It offers four riding modes: Eco, Ride, Sport, and Custom.

Hero has ensured that the Vida V2 range is loaded with features. Key highlights include a 7-inch TFT touchscreen instrument cluster, turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle telematics, cruise control, regenerative braking, and keyless start. The scooters also provide advanced battery state-of-charge (SoC) indicators.
Hero Vida V2 electric scooter range: Warranty and competition
The Vida V2 comes with a comprehensive 5-year or 50,000 km vehicle warranty and a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty for the battery pack. These models will lock horns against popular models like the Ola S1 range, Ather 450X, Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, and others.
