Govt notifies Census 2027 | India News
NEW DELHI: The government on Monday notified Census 2027, making March 1 of that year as the reference date for all states and Union territories (except Ladakh and snowbound areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand).For these areas, October 1, 2026, will be the reference date, as per the notification.
