Air India Express and Scoot launch exciting flight sale for domestic and international travel
MUMABI: Air India’s subsidiary, Air India Express, and Scoot, Singapore Airlines’ low-cost subsidiary, have launched a sale offer for travel to short and medium-haul domestic and international destinations. Tickets under this offer must be purchased before September 16.
Air India Express announced its flash sale with fares starting from Rs 932, along with zero convenience fees for logged-in members on the airline’s website, airindiaexpress.com, or the mobile app.The sale is available for bookings made until September 16, 2024, for travel up to March 31, 2025.
“The sale is also extended on Xpress Value fares starting at Rs 1,088 across major booking channels, with special fares on multiple routes including Delhi-Gwalior, Guwahati-Agartala, Bengaluru-Chennai, Kochi-Bengaluru, and more,” the airline said. Passengers booking on airindiaexpress.com will have access to the exclusive zero-check-in baggage Xpress Lite fares.
“Xpress Lite fares also include the option to pre-book an additional 3 kg cabin baggage for free and discounted check-in baggage of only Rs 1,000 for 15 kg on domestic flights and Rs 1,300 for 20 kg on international flights,” it added.
Air India Express stated that its loyalty members receive exclusive discounts and can earn up to 8% NeuCoins on the airline’s website, along with special deals such as up to 40% off ‘Gourmair’ hot meals and beverages, Biz Seats, and Xpress Ahead priority services. Additionally, students, senior citizens, SMEs, doctors and nurses, and members of the armed forces and their dependents can book special discounted fares on the airline’s website.
Xpress Biz fares are available on all new Air India Express Boeing 737-8 aircraft, offering a Business Class equivalent, disrupting the traditional LCC model with the hybrid value carrier concept aligned with the refreshed Air India Express brand positioning ‘Fly As You Are’. “Guests can also upgrade to Biz seats for an enhanced travel experience with a seat pitch of up to 58 inches,” the airline noted. The airline is adding nearly 4 new aircraft every month and has 4-8 Biz seats on the over 30 new aircraft inducted since its brand launch in October 2023.
Meanwhile, Scoot has announced its September Network Sale, running until September 16. The sale offers Indian travelers the chance to book one-way economy fares at budget-friendly prices, starting from as low as Rs 5,900 for short to medium-haul destinations.
“With all destinations priced under INR 19,000, the September Network Sale allows travelers from Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Amritsar, and more to explore bucket-list destinations without exceeding their budget,” Scoot said in a press statement.
“For an enhanced travel experience, including priority check-in and boarding, spacious seating with ample legroom, 15 kg cabin baggage, 30 kg checked baggage allowances, and 30 MB of wifi,” it added.
Passengers from Amritsar and Chennai can also book ScootPlus seats starting at Rs 12,900 on the Boeing 787 Dreamliners. However, additional blackout periods may apply during school holidays and event periods. For more details, visit the airline’s website.
