The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has officially released the schedule for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Mains Examination 2024. The exam is set to be conducted on July 20, 2025, across designated centres in Odisha. This recruitment drive, advertised under Advt. No. 4603/OSSC, is aimed at filling 324 posts for Soil Conservation Extension Worker. A total of 1,654 candidates have been shortlisted to appear for the Mains stage. The admit cards will be made available for download from July 16 onwards through the official OSSC website, ossc.gov.in. Candidates are advised to regularly check the portal for updates and ensure they carry all necessary documents on the exam day.

OSSC CHSL exam schedule and timings

The OSSC CHSL Mains 2024 will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. All shortlisted candidates must report to their respective exam centres well in advance, as late entry may not be permitted.

How to download OSSC admit card

Admit cards will be available from Wednesday, July 16, 2025, on the official website of OSSC. To download:

  1. Visit ossc.gov.in
  2. Click on the relevant “CHSL Mains 2024 Admit Card” link
  3. Log in using your Registration ID/Mobile Number and Date of Birth
  4. Download and print the admit card for exam day use

Candidates should verify all details mentioned on the admit card, including name, photograph, exam centre, and reporting time.

Exam pattern and marking scheme

The Mains exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 200 marks. Each correct answer will earn 2 marks, while 0.5 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response. The paper will assess candidates on job-relevant topics and general aptitude.Candidates who clear the Mains exam will be called for further selection stages, which may include certificate verification and a final merit list.
