ED seizes 37 horses in cyberfraud case | India News
ED has attached 37 race horses belonging to Kunal Gupta, a Kolkata-based businessman, owner of Met Technologies Pvt Ltd, which allegedly cheated clients in the US, UK and Australia through cyberfraud.
The agency issued a provisional attachment order for properties, valued at Rs 5.2 crore, including the horses, worth around Rs 4 crore. The horses, an ED officer said, would now be auctioned. Sourcessaid Gupta bought horses at auctions, private sales and from breeders. ED officers said animals could be “attached” if they were bought with the proceeds of a crime.
